Extra flights this season to Turin.

This season British Airways will be flying direct to Turin from Heathrow. They will be operating the service on Saturday and Sunday in addition to their daily flights out of Gatwick.

At the time of writing this you could get a return flight from Heathrow to Turin in January for a little over £93. A flight from Gatwick on the same day and around the same time was coming out at just over £106. Prices included a checked in bag.

The frequency isn’t the same as Gatwick but if you’re looking for a weeks holiday and live nearer to Heathrow than Gatwick then this will be a welcome addition to their schedule.

Following their inaugural season last year, Blue Air are continuing to offer regular flights from Luton to Turin. The Romanian airline operates flights to Turin on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday. Based on the same dates that I used for the BA flights, they could fly you to Turin for £80 (10kg hand luggage + 20kg check in bag inc).

Easyjet are flying direct to Turin from Bristol (Sunday), Manchester (Sunday), Luton (Saturday) and Gatwick (Mon, Fri, Sat & Sun).

Ryanair still only offer Stansted as an option if you want to fly to Turin however they do operate daily flights. Their basic return fare was £37 with no checked in bags. It’s an extra £25 to check in a 20kg bag each way which makes a return flight £87. Despite what their website said when I did my search it wasn’t cheaper to opt for the plus fare which included the baggage allowance as standard. Ryanair now allow you to take 1 small cabin bag ie handbag or laptop bag not exceeding 35cm x 20cm x 20cm.

Jet2 fly direct to Turin on Saturday and Sunday from Birmingham & Manchester and on Saturday from Edinburgh. A flight from Manchester in early January was coming out at £114 with a 22kg checked in bag. At the time of writing they are offering ski carriage for £12.50 (one way).

Great service from James prior to arriving. Really went above and beyond. The rental shop was ideally situated at the bottom of the lift. Can't wait to return!

Sauzeonline provide great value ski and snowboard hire from a selection of shops in good locations throughout the town – so we were able to find shops suitable for all our group (not all of whom were staying in the same place). James was also incredibly helpful in resolving an issue one of our group had with his snowboard hire [and arranged a full refund]. We would definitely recommend Sauzeonline both in terms of excellent value and service.

B. Hughes

Easy to use website and good prices. James was very helpful on the phone. Ski hire shop provided good and rapid service

G. Humphries

We are a family of 6 and James and Sinead at Sauzeonline.com were brilliant in organising skis, lessons and restaurants. Really helpful and friendly - a pleasure to deal with. We plan to come back next year using Sauzeonline for everything.

D. Bonfield

The transfers we booked were professional and hassle free notwithstanding our late arrival. For the return we were greeted on time with great service. The ski hire was also of excellent quality.
