Lift opening schedule

The official opening day of the 2017/18 season is December 8th. Here in Sauze d’Oulx they are starting off on Friday by opening the main Sportinia chair and Rocce Nere. On Saturday and Sunday hopefully we’ll see the Clotes chair open along with Lago Nero, Bourget and the 2 chairs in the bowl, Chamonier and Colo, snow depending.

Until the 23rd December, during the week, we will only have Sportinia and Rocce Nere open with the other lifts mentioned above open at the weekends. From the 23rd the area should be fully open.

A new addition this season to Sauze is the Cote Faure chairlift. This starts at the top of the 2000 run and will take skiers up to the top of Moncrons. The old Moncrons drag lift has been retired. They have also built a new piste coming from the top of the chairlift. As soon as I can get up there with my Gopro I’ll bring you a video report from the area.

Unfortunately they have decided to only open this at weekends so if you’re coming out this winter bear that in mind and head over Saturday or Sunday.

Lift pass prices have largely remained the same as last season. More information on that can be found here https://sauzeonelineco.wpenginepowered.com/lift-pass-prices/

Easy to use website and good prices. James was very helpful on the phone. Ski hire shop provided good and rapid service

The transfers we booked were professional and hassle free notwithstanding our late arrival. For the return we were greeted on time with great service. The ski hire was also of excellent quality.

We are a family of 6 and James and Sinead at Sauzeonline.com were brilliant in organising skis, lessons and restaurants. Really helpful and friendly - a pleasure to deal with. We plan to come back next year using Sauzeonline for everything.

D. Bonfield

Just wanted to say that we had a great week and to thank you for all your assistance in arranging everything for us. Roll on next year!

Tony P.

Sauzeonline provide great value ski and snowboard hire from a selection of shops in good locations throughout the town – so we were able to find shops suitable for all our group (not all of whom were staying in the same place). James was also incredibly helpful in resolving an issue one of our group had with his snowboard hire [and arranged a full refund]. We would definitely recommend Sauzeonline both in terms of excellent value and service.
