Conditions update 8th December 2010

It’s gone considerably warmer here in the Italian Alps recently. After a few weeks of sustained cold weather and a great amount snow the weekend saw a shift with a warm front coming in bringing rain to the area.

Despite this the piste conditions have remained very good with runs into the village remaining open. There has been a few days of high winds which has meant that the links to Sestriere and SanSicario have shut.

I’m please to say the milder weather being experience throughout the alpine region wont last much longer. Towards the end of this week temperatures will drop again to below freezing. We have in store a few bright sunny days ahead before the snow returns the later part of next week.

What our customers say

Used Sauzeonline for our airport transfer and ski hire. The service they provided was excellent. Could not have been more helpful replying to many emails due to questions on travel due to Covid. The transfer service was fantastic and the hire shop very helpful. Thankyou for making our holiday special.

We are a family of 6 and James and Sinead at Sauzeonline.com were brilliant in organising skis, lessons and restaurants. Really helpful and friendly - a pleasure to deal with. We plan to come back next year using Sauzeonline for everything.

The transfers we booked were professional and hassle free notwithstanding our late arrival. For the return we were greeted on time with great service. The ski hire was also of excellent quality.
