Why should I book through Sauze Online?
We’ve been helping visitors enjoy their ski holidays in Sauze d’Oulx for over 20 years. As a locally based team, we work with carefully selected suppliers to offer great value ski hire, ski school lessons, airport transfers and accommodation. You’ll benefit from local knowledge, discounted prices and the reassurance that we’re in resort throughout the winter should you need any assistance.
Are your online bookings secure?
Yes. Our website uses secure encryption for all online payments, and your payment is processed securely through Stripe, one of the world’s leading payment providers. No booking or administration fees are added to your order.
Can I amend my booking?
If you’d like to add extra items, simply place a new booking. If you need to change an existing booking, please contact us using our contact form and we’ll do our best to help.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. Please refer to our booking terms and conditions for full details of our cancellation policy. Most bookings can be cancelled before arrival.
I’ve lost my booking voucher. What should I do?
Don’t worry. You can log into the Customer Area at any time to download your vouchers again. If you experience any problems, just get in touch.
Ski Hire
Which rental shop will I use?
We work with several carefully selected ski hire shops across Sauze d’Oulx, giving you a choice of five convenient collection locations. Full details of each shop are shown during the booking process.
What do the Gold, Silver and Bronze equipment categories mean?
**Gold** – High-performance equipment for experienced skiers who enjoy skiing the whole mountain.
**Silver** – Ideal for intermediate skiers who are confident on red runs.
**Bronze** – Perfect for beginners and those new to skiing.
Can I collect my equipment before my first ski day?
Yes. If your rental starts on Monday, you can usually collect your equipment after 5.00pm on Sunday, allowing you to head straight to the slopes the following morning.
Are ski poles included?
Yes. Ski poles are included free of charge with all ski rentals.
Are helmets included?
Helmets can be added during the booking process. As of the 2025/26 season, helmets are compulsory for all skiers and snowboarders in Italy, regardless of age.
Is insurance included?
Equipment insurance is not included automatically. You can purchase theft and damage insurance directly from the rental shop when collecting your equipment.
Do I need to provide my height and weight before I arrive?
No. Our rental partners will measure and fit your equipment when you collect it, ensuring everything is correctly adjusted for your height, weight and ability.
I have very large feet. Will boots be available?
Yes. Our rental partners carry a wide range of boot sizes and are well equipped to accommodate most customers.
Can I change from skis to a snowboard during my holiday?
This depends on availability and the rental shop’s policy. Some shops may allow a change during quieter weeks, although an additional charge may apply.
What do I need to bring when collecting my equipment?
Simply bring your booking voucher. The rental shop will take care of the rest. If you’re renting boots then don’t forget your ski socks.
What happens if my equipment needs adjusting during the week?
Simply return to your rental shop. They’ll be happy to adjust your boots or exchange equipment if required.
Ski School
Can adults and children ski in the same lesson?
No. Adults and children are taught in separate groups as they learn at different speeds. Everyone is placed into a class based on their age and skiing ability.
How are ski school groups organised?
Groups are arranged according to both age and ability, ensuring everyone learns with skiers of a similar standard.
Can I change from ski lessons to snowboard lessons?
Once lessons have started, it isn’t normally possible to change discipline during the week.
Resort Information
Do I need a photograph for my lift pass?
No. Photographs are no longer required for lift passes.
Are the rental shops open on Sundays?
Yes. All of our partner shops are open on Sundays, making it easy to collect your equipment after you arrive.
Can I hire ski clothing in Sauze d’Oulx?
Yes. Clothing hire is available from selected shops in the resort, although availability can be limited. There are also several sports shops selling any clothing or accessories you may have forgotten.
Do you offer local assistance during my holiday?
Yes. Unlike many online booking websites, we’re based in Sauze d’Oulx throughout the winter season. If you need help or advice during your stay, we’re only a phone call or email away.
Do you offer airport transfers and accommodation?
Yes. In addition to ski hire and ski school, we can also arrange airport transfers and selected self-catered accommodation to help make planning your holiday even easier.
