Road cycling
There is an abundance of challenging and rewarding cycling on offer in the area around Sauze d’Oulx. Famous climbs from the Tour de France and Giro d’Italia are close by along with some fantastic rides along lesser well known roads.

Cycle days
Many of the famous cols in the area are closed to vehicles on certain days throughout the summer giving cyclists safe access to the climbs. The Galibier, Izoard, Moncenisio, Telegraph and Iseran all have bike only days and are all accessible from Sauze d’Oulx.

Giro d’Italia 2025
This years edition of the Giro will see the return of the infamous Colle della Finestra located just outside Susa, 30km from Sauze d’Oulx. The finish of that stage will be in Sestriere and could well determine the outcome of the race. The date of that stage is 31st May.
